Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) is an independent, non-profit organization authorized by Congress in 2010 to fund comparative effectiveness research that will provide patients, their caregivers, and clinicians with the evidence needed to make better-informed health and healthcare decisions. PCORI is committed to seeking input from a broad range of stakeholders to guide its work.
PCORI was established to fund research that can help patients and those who care for them make better-informed decisions about the healthcare choices they face every day, guided by those who will use that information.
The work of the Brain Cancer Quality of Life Collaborative is funded by a PCORI Pipeline to Proposals Tier A Award that runs from October 1, 2017 – September 30, 2018.
