Whitney received her Bachelors in Kinesiology at Indiana University before going on to earn a Masters in Occupational Therapy at the University of Indianapolis. For the past 10 years, she has worked at her local county/level 1 trauma hospital as well as several long term rehab facilities providing rehabilitation services for a variety of ages and diagnoses. Whitney has a specialty in the elderly population, specifically those with dementia/Alzheimers.
When not working, Whitney keeps busy as a mom to 3 young boys, ages 6, 4 and 2. Almost 2 years ago, her husband Adam was diagnosed with glioblastoma and since that time, they have worked together to advocate for increased awareness and research funding for brain tumors and cancers of the brain.
